233 MarketWatch is published by LightSpeed Technologies Limited, Accra, Ghana ("we"). This policy explains what information our website and apps use and why. Questions: dev@lightspeedtechgh.com.
The short version
- The apps have no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
- Your favourites, portfolio and price history stay on your phone. We never receive them.
- The website uses Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which use cookies.
Mobile apps (Android and iPhone)
Stored only on your device: stocks you mark as favourites, portfolio holdings you enter (quantity, buy price, date), and daily closing prices the app records so it can draw charts. This data is not sent to us or anyone else. Deleting the app deletes it. On Android it may be included in your own Google device backup if you have backups turned on.
Network requests: to show prices, the app requests public market data from gsemarketwatch.com and stock picks from 233marketwatch.com. Like any web request, these servers receive your device's IP address and basic technical information (for example the app version) and may keep it briefly in server logs for security and reliability. The requests contain no personal information about you.
We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, photos or advertising identifiers in the apps, and we do not sell or share personal data.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and opt out of personalised ads at adssettings.google.com.
Payments
Stock picks are currently free. If a paid plan is offered on the website, payments are handled by Paystack; we would then store your email address and the payment reference to confirm your purchase and let you restore access. We never see or store card or mobile-money details.
Children
233 MarketWatch is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your rights
Because the apps keep your data on your device, you can view, change or delete it there at any time. For anything we hold (such as a payment record), email dev@lightspeedtechgh.com to ask for a copy, a correction or deletion. You may also contact Ghana's Data Protection Commission.
